Guy Dobbs is a 1989 graduate of Kalamazoo College and received his law degree from the University of Connecticut, School of Law, in 1994. He is very active in civic affairs and has served the State of Michigan in regard to formulating policy for implementation of the No Child Left Behind Act and school safety. He has published a number of general interest articles on legal issues and has written on the subject of public school academies for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. He is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in Michigan, is a member of national and state professional associations, including the Defense Research Institute, and his practice includes litigation and ADR, employment and labor, schools, insurance coverage and insurance defense.
